Calman for BRAVIA, created by Sony Home Entertainment Sound Products Inc., is an Android application designed to calibrate the picture quality settings of select BRAVIA TVs. This utility app operates in conjunction with Portrait Display's Calman® display calibration software, using Direct Display Control (DDC) and AutoCal™ features to fine-tune the TV's brightness, white balance, and other settings.To utilize AutoCal, users must download, install, and launch the app on their compatible BRAVIA TV. It is crucial to note that Calman for BRAVIA does not perform the calibration process independently; it works only with specific BRAVIA TV models mentioned in a PDF document accessible on the Sony Global website.Caution is advised while the app is running, as the BRAVIA TV waits for Calman's communication and may inadvertently adjust picture settings from other devices on the same network.
